Here is what I am working on today. I had the pleasure of working with an amazing family on Monday. It was a lot of fun and busy, busy, busy. Steve, Kristy and the kids were so easy to work with. They had great ideas to add to the experience and just went with the flow. That sure makes my job easy! Well, it had to come sooner or later. I have once again, stretched myself and attempted what I thought was the impossible. I shot my first wedding! Hooray! It was a hot but beautiful day and what made it more beautiful were the people we were celebrating with. Dar and Mike are such amazing people with an amazing heart for God and their children. Two families have come together to become one and here is a sneak peek of what made last Saturday one I will remember for a long time. There is so much more to this love story so stay tuned for more to come.

It was a delight to have baby Violet come for a visit. It was perfect timing, just before we were headed out on our vacation. This is the third sitting with the Gordon family and it is so much fun watching our friends families grow. What a sweet addition to the family Brad, Erin and big sister Molly. One of the best parts of being a photographer is the chance to share in the joy of the birth of a new baby. When Tracy called me to photograph her new baby grandson, I jumped at the opportunity to share in her joy. He was so good and mom and dad did great too. Enjoy these special moments with a sweet little boy. Congratulations Tracy on the birth of your first grandson. He is beautiful!

First I have to say, it is about time that I catch up on my blog. It has been a busy summer and we took 2 weeks off for some family time which was well spent. Thanks for everyone’s patience.
One of the things I love about having kids, is meeting all of their friends and families at school. This brings so much opportunity for practice and a great way to increase my business. Jeanette asked if I would take some pictures of her kids and possibly use her parents backyard. When we initially met, she invited me for a visit to her parents backyard just to check it out and see if it would work. Let’s just say, it was a backyard oasis. It was so beautiful and a perfect location for a photo shoot. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed a family BBQ when we were finished. Thanks J for a great afternoon and hope you all enjoy this post!
