All Mother’s Can Brag | Niagara Children’s Photographer

Every mother has the right to brag about her children and I have decided to practice what I preach.  Mother’s Day just passed and with all the craziness of family dinners, working and sports, I really wanted to take some time and capture my special moments with my 3 precious gifts.  They are the very reason that I wake up every morning and live each day to the fullest.  Here is a snap shot of what my Mother’s Day was like this year and it all ended with a big piece of the best chocolate cake.

Mark & Stacey | Expecting | Niagara Maternity Photographer

An exciting part of being a parent is sharing in the joy with others when they are about to enter the world of parenthood.  As a photographer, I get to capture these special moments during this stage of preparation.  I am so glad that expecting parents take the time to take these photos because when you are surrounded by baby toys, diapers and a crying baby, you forget about the beautiful miracle of those 9 important months.

Mark and Stacey were such a great couple to share one of these special moments with.  Not only did we get some great shots, we shared so many great stories of how they first met and got to this point in their journey together.  Now they are entering another chapter in their adventure together and here are few captured moments from this day.  Congratulations Mark and Stacey!

Christmas Cheer Photo-booth | Niagara Family Photographer

“The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear.”  ELF

What do you get when you bring some Lee’s, Hiebert’s, Voth’s and a Nguyen together?  A whole lot of crazy fun in a whole lot of PLAID!  I thought I would share some moments we shared this past Christmas holiday; photo-booth style.  Enjoy and Happy New Year to you all.  See you in 2012!

Where did this guy come from?

Can’t you just get along?

Teague Turns 1 | The Babony Family | Niagara Children’s Photographer

It was time to pack up my equipment and head out to one of the Wonders Of The World, Niagara Falls, Ontario to meet my next client, little Teague.

Teague just turned 1 and it was a perfect opportunity to get all dressed up with mom and dad to take some pictures.  The Babony family were a lot of fun to hang out with and the weather was on our side the whole afternoon.  We even had a chance to check out the candy shop on Clifton Hill.  What a treat!  P.S. – There is more then one fountain in the park at the bottom Clifton Hill.  Who knew?  Here is a peek at our afternoon of Fun at the Falls.

The Vermue Family | Niagara Family Photographer

I had the privilege of meeting up with the Vermue family last week and had a blast with them.  We had lots to celebrate.  Not only are they an amazing family, it was a special birthday for Dad and what a great way to celebrate the day.  We had rain in and out of our session but that didn’t stop us from having fun.  Here is a peek at our day.

Shari and Dave | Niagara Family Photographer

Now that August is coming to an end and we begin to prepare our kids for another productive year at school, I am reminded of how spending time with family is so important.  This past summer we had to say goodbye to an amazing family.  Not only were Dave and Shari family to us, they became amazing friends who introduced us to the love of board games again, and a good quality bottle of wine.  BC is lucky to have you back and we hope to play together again soon.

Here is a little peek at a family photo shoot we did last year.  We miss you Dave and Shari!

Darlene and Mike | Niagara Wedding Photographer

Where do I begin… Mike and Dar have such a beautiful and free spirited relationship which made this day so much fun.  They both have amazing children who get along so well and have fun every moment they are together.  Well, of course the time I spent with them. You couldn’t of asked for a more beautiful day, HOT but perfect.  Mike and Darlene are surrounded by friends and family who love them and will support them in their journey together.  That is what made this day so memorable for me. Thanks Mike and Dar for making this first wedding experience for me so much fun.  It was a beautiful day for a beautiful couple, making two families come together as one. Congratulations Mike and Darlene and God bless you both in your adventure together.

I just want to thank my good friend Erin McBean for helping me out on this, my first, wedding shoot.  You are a great friend Erin and I thank you for sharing your talents with me.

Kristy and Steve | Niagara Children and Family Photographer

Here is what I am working on today.  I had the pleasure of working with an amazing family on Monday.  It was a lot of fun and busy, busy, busy.  Steve, Kristy and the kids were so easy to work with.  They had great ideas to add to the experience and just went with the flow.  That sure makes my job easy!  Enjoy this little peek into the lives of this lovely family of 4 and don’t forget to come back, there will be more.

It has been a busy 2 weeks and I wanted to share some of my favorites with you.

Darlene and Mike-Sneak Peek | Niagara Wedding Photographer

July 23, 2011

Well, it had to come sooner or later.  I have once again, stretched myself and attempted what I thought was the impossible.  I shot my first wedding!  Hooray!  It was a hot but beautiful day and what made it more beautiful were the people we were celebrating with.  Dar and Mike are such amazing people with an amazing heart for God and their children.  Two families have come together to become one and here is a sneak peek of what made last Saturday one I will remember for a long time.  There is so much more to this love story so stay tuned for more to come.

Congratulations Darlene and Mike on your marriage!
